The weekly makeup

This week's look is simply put together by some of my new favorite stuff. The look is not super dramatic so it can definitely be worn everyday but also as a party look. The main colors used was a clear teal and a metallic dark green. I used false lashes to this look but I have to admit that the lashes I wore did not add much to the look. Which should not have come as a surprise since I chose natural lashes. My lashes looked a bit thicker but no volume. Anyway, I really love the colors and they worked awesome together.

When I did this look I had the chance to try the false lash glue that I bought a while ago. The DUO adhesive. I really liked it. It was easy to work with and wasn't hard to remove. But I have to say that it would be just a slight bit easier to put the glue on the lashes if the top of the glue container or whatever you call it was smaller. I hope that made any sense.
May I add that when it comes to false lashes and especially the glue i'm pretty picky. Why? Because it is glue, glue that you are going to put on a sensitive area in your face. I think it is important to choose your products carefully. I like the Depend false lashes but once I tried the Depend glue that you can buy separately and it was not good. It was easy to get on and looked good but to get it of, big project, a three day project to be exact. It did not come of. The lashes came of but not the glue. So it was definitely not for me.
Back to the look, check it out...

Products used:
NYX Jumbo eyeshadow pencil in white - As a base on the lid. Evened out with a flat brush such as the Make up Store 106. The same color was used as a highlighter under the eyebrow.
MAC eyeshadow in Aquadisiac - Putting it on the inner two thirds of the lid with a flat brush like the Sigma E55. Leaving a little part of the inner corner for a lighter shade.
MAC eyeshadow in Legendary Lure (from the Alluring Aquatic collection) - I used an angled brush from the cruise kit (similar to the Sigma E70) and worked it on the outer part of the lid and up into the crease. Using the same brush and adding some color under the eye, right beneath the lower lash line, but not all the way in to the inner corner of the eye. Hope you got that good explanation.
MAC eyeshadow in Shroom - Adding some color on the tear duct area. Which makes you look less tired.
IsaDora Colorful eyeliner in Black - A nice line along the upper lash line.
Maybelline The Rocket volume express mascara - Still not much to say there because you know, mascara is mascara.
Ardell false lashes, 108 Black - attached with the DUO glue.
Benifit speed brow - Something I have never tried before. It´s for making your eyebrows stay in shape. And it workes pretty good.
For the lips I used the Mary Kay true dimension in Mystic Plum

So that is that. I hope you all have a great weekend! Take care!
